The house is in a quiet close with plenty of parking. It is near a sandy beach with lovely views of the Harbour. The room has a TV, mini Fridge, Microwave, Alexa and Tea/Coffee facilities. We provide towels and two bathrobes. The area has good public transport and is a 5 minute drive to Poole Ferry Port (Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries, DFDS Ferries). Late check in is fine if you are coming by ferry. If you want to bring an extra guest we can squeeze in a fold out memory foam floor mattress. The space We are near two sandy beaches, Hamworthy Park, Lake Pier, Ham Common, Rockley Holiday Park and Poole Harbour. You can walk to Poole Quay (30 minutes) and catch a foot ferry to Brownsea Island. The Lighthouse Arts & Entertainment multi-arts venue is a 7 minute drive. The Purbeck and Jurassic Coast are a short drive away where you can explore Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Kimmeridge Bay, Old Harry Rocks, Studland Bay, Arne RSPB Nature Reserve and Swanage. The Tank Museum at Bovington is a 30 minute drive. There is a very nice Pub across the road serving food. For a larger selection of restaurants you can go to Poole Quay where you will find numerous eateries. We have two very friendly cocker spaniels. A continental breakfast is provided in your room; croissant, jam, cereal, muffin/cake bar, biscuits, orange/apple juice, tea, coffee, yogurts, water, and milk. Extra drinks in the mini Fridge are chargeable, please see the laminated information sheet in your room. There are no Kitchen facilities. If you are coming by bicycle we have an Atom Strong Steel Anchor to secure your bicycle/s outside with a Mammoth Security Chain. **The room is on the First Floor (12 steps) and has its own shower room, toilet, shower and hand wash basin that you will find Downstairs on the Ground Floor ** We also have the Brownsea Room on the First Floor available for bookings which has the advantage of having a Bathroom next door to your room so you don't have to walk downstairs: "Brownsea Double Room a few minutes from Ferry Port" The room can also accommodate one additional single fold out memory foam floor mattress, suitable for a child 2 - 17 years. Your bedroom is for your exclusive use during your stay. Other areas and rooms in the house will no longer be accessible to Airbnb guests. The Bedroom now has a mini Fridge, Microwave and Kettle to make it easier to prepare easy meals and snacks. We have a key safe so it is possible to arrive and depart without seeing anyone.
