Description
The Hay Loft forms part of what once was a Yorkshire Longhouse. The Old Rectory was built in 1691, and extended in 1860. On the ground floor of the Hayloft, there is an open plan kitchen dining area, along with a lounge area with views over the garden. There is also a wc/wash room with shower on the ground floor. A double bedroom is situated on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, small mini oven, and two ring hob. Outside the patio area has very pleasant views. The space The Hayloft is an attached annex to the main house. However it does have its own access . Originally the Hayloft provided shelter for the farm animals. Hence the original features, which include a large wooden hay rack, feeding trough, raised ventilation, brick floors and stone walls. A wood burning stove provides heating, with wood being provided. Guest access Guests can access the patio seating area in front of the Hay Loft. Guest can also park within the grounds of the Old Rectory.
