Our riad "AL MAASSRA" invites you to the heart of a typical village, surrounded by walls out of sight, built on an old olive mill. Featuring a shaded and wooded garden, with a fountain, a hammam and a pool without vis-à-vis with sunbathing... Several living and rest areas are at your disposal including a dining area under a pergola, an atypical living room with a mill and fireplace, a contemporary living room... The 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned. BBQ available The space The riad consists of 2 living rooms, atypical and contemporary with local and TNT decoders, a swimming pool with sun loungers, sun loungers, umbrella and games (balloon, buoys, fries, inflatable mattresses), weightlifting and a bathroom, a steam room, a laundry room, a fitted kitchen, indoor and outdoor parking and large terraces. The 4 bedrooms and lounges are equipped with air conditioning. On the ground floor: The room "Bahia" overlooking the garden bedding 160x200 has a private bathroom and a wardrobe with shelves. The room "Jasmine"  overlooking the garden bedding 160x200 has a private bathroom and a wardrobe with shelves. Upstairs: The bedroom "Layla" overlooking the 160x200 bedding terrace and wardrobe with shelves. The room "Kenza"  overlooking the terrace with 2 beds 90 x190 and wardrobe with shelves. These 2 bedrooms have a shared bathroom. Kitchen furnished and fully equipped Complete dishes, couscoussier, tagine, oven, dishwasher ( products not supplied)..... Refrigerator with freezer.......... The origin of the Berber name Taroudant is enigmatic; some legends associate it with a Syrian princess who settled in the region and who bore the name of "Queen Roudana", others explain it by the Berber phrase "Taroua ddante" which means "The children were carried away (by the water)" shouted a Berber woman who was doing her laundry by the river when the floods carried off her children! • Monuments & Attractions of the City of Taroudant: Les Remparts: Monuments, Sites and Zones classified in the province of Taroudant, the ramparts surrounding the center of Taroudant. La Grande Muraille: Overall the enclosure is about 7.5 km long. It is dotted by 130 towers and 19 corner bastions. It is also pierced by five gates: Bab al-Kasbah, Bab Zorgan, Bab Targhount, Bab Oulad Bounouna and Bab El khemis. All these doors are bent and attest to their defensive character. The most important thing for its dimensions and its location is the so-called "Kasbah" gate. It is on the eastern flank a few ten meters from the Kasbah. It is a bastioned door, flanked by two massive towers that protrude from the enclosure. On the south side, the city is served by the gate called "Bab Zorgane".This gate as well as those called "Bab el Khemis" and "Bab Oulad Bounouna"are all angled and have an open vestibule. Bab Zorgane and Bab Sensla are dominated by bastioned towers and a walkway. Smaller dimensions than the previous ones,"Bab Targhount", on the other hand, has a covered vestibule. La Kasbah: It occupies the northeastern part of the city of Taroudant. It is furnished with square towers of smaller dimensions than those of the Great Wall, This Kasbah bears the traces of reworkings that testify to the vicissitudes that the city had lived • To see in the surroundings of the city of Taroudant: - The City of Agadir. - The City of Tiznit, with its Sudan-style square minaret painted in bright pink, Tiznit is the gemaker of the Souss Massa Draâ region. Tiznit is famous for its site of the rock engravings of Tazeka, some 5,000 years old, and for its lush valleys of Ait Mansour. Tiznit is located 90 km from the Aéreport International Al Massira d 'Agadir. - The city of Taliouine, very famous for its "Safran". - The Siroua region with its high place the village "Tazenakht", capital of the Berber carpets of the Ait Ouaouzguit. - La Palmeraie de Tioute: Small village located 20km from Taroudant, Tioute is perched on a piton, overlooking a pretty palm grove. About 3000 inhabitants live around this oasis of greenery and live from the cultivation of irrigated gardens and the breeding of goats. Beautiful mule rides are possible and the local hostel offers an excellent lemon chicken tagine. - Amtoudi Village - How do I get there?
