The house is 1400 square feet with two bedrooms, family room/den, two bathrooms, an open living space with great views of the surrounding area. I have a wonderful, large terraced backyard with two patio areas, vegetable gardens - the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset. The open island kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining. It's equipped with a built-in Sub Zero refrigerator, top of the line cooktop, oven, dishwasher, wine cooler, and Sonos system. The vintage Danish dining table unfolds to seat 8. In the living room, we have an old school LP turntable, lots of records, and Bose stereo system. The bedrooms are downstairs. The master bedroom features a California King with lots of closet space and flat screen TV. The master bathroom has stone tiles and counter top and a gorgeous built-in teak vanity. The shower includes a steam unit, rain shower head, and hand held shower. The second bedroom has a couch that unfolds to a double bed. The second bathroom features a tub, shower, and washer-dryer. In the den, there's a down-filled L-shaped couch that can sleep one adult or two children. There's also a flat screen TV. Access to the garden is through the second bedroom. There are two patio areas to take in our perfect weather and gorgeous views. Depending on the time of year, the vegetable beds are growing kale, swiss chard, tomatoes, artichokes, fava beans, and wildflowers. The beautifully landscaped backyard is bursting with color and includes lavender, succulents, grapevine, fruit trees, and California Native flowers. Guests will have access to the entire house (excluding the garage) and the large terraced backyard and patio. I am close by if you need anything. Living in the Franklin Hills has so much to offer. Silver Lake and Sunset Junction are a 15 minute walk to the east. On Hillhurst there are several wonderful restaurants, bars, and shops, while Vermont Avenue to the west offers a great bookstore, movie theater, and more restaurants, shopping. There are several transportation options nearby. The Metro Line is close by that takes you to Downtown LA and the West Side. There's also a rental car company within walking distance. I'm close to Downtown, Echo Park, and the 101 and 5 Freeways. The neighborhood is quiet and serene, located in the Franklin Hills above Los Feliz and Silver Lake. Walking the neighborhood is a great workout because of the many staircases that connect the hillside streets.
