It is an old-fashioned house in downtown Tokyo.Experience Tokyo in a charming traditional Japanese home conveniently located in a great cultural area in the Koto ward of Tokyo. Walking distance to JR Kinshicho Station (14min) and the Subway Shinjuku Line Nishi-ojima Station (9 min), as well as shops, restaurants, museums, shrines and parks. Easy and short commute to some of Tokyo’s most famous attractions. Great for couples, families with kids, and larger groups, this house can comfortably sleep seven to eight people. The space It is a two-story old private house, but the inside is newly decorated and it is very beautiful.The walls are made of natural materials, and each room is made of tatami mats, making it a space where you can feel Japanese.Newly renovated house, two floors, spacious and bright, very comfortable for larger groups and longer stays. The entrance features traditional Japanese sand walls (kyokabe) which are composed of natural ingredients and colour creating a very wholesome experience. The rooms consist of traditional tatami floor and fusuma paper walls. Throughout the house you will find my grandmother’s art work suiboku-ga a Japanese ink wash style of painting. Other things to note I can communicate in English and Japanese as well as using the Airbnb translations I will do my best to communicate in all languages. Please keep in mind that I can only read English and Japanese when sending me pictures via Airbnb.
