This is a comfortable, quiet 3rd floor apartment. Residents may also relax on the large wrap-around porch or on the patio alongside the pond. The space 5408 W. North Ave. AIRBNB general information - • Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is 11am. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first. • Ring the doorbell when you first arrive so we can properly greet you. • You will be using a shared entrance. Please respect our privacy. We will be happy to answer any questions you have after 8 am or before 9 PM. • We cannot accept pet visitors. • Quiet time hours are 9 PM – 7 am. In case of emergency, knock on our 2nd floor 'Host' door immediately. • Please remove your shoes when you arrive before going upstairs. • Our suite is for short-term use. There is a microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, hot pot, and coffee press. If you need more cooking resources please let us know. • We have a small pond with a covered patio. You are welcome to use it unless occupied by family. There is a fire pit and firewood available. If you choose to use the fire pit, please let us know. We’ll be happy to get you set up. Not familiar with the Baltimore region? We are happy to help you with directions and good ways to navigate the City and surroundings and to recommend activities based on your interests. We are just a few blocks from Gwynns Falls Leakin Park, one of the largest urban parks in the nation. There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the park, including the Gwynns Falls Trail. Trail Head #1 in is Franklintown (our neighborhood). The trail continues through forested and urban areas for 10 miles where it deposits you at the Inner Harbor in the heart of downtown Baltimore. A great hike or bike ride! Drive an electric vehicle? We have an outdoor EV charging station that you are welcome to use. It is a Siemens Versi-Charger that will give a full charge to most vehicles in 4 hours or less. It uses an SAE J1772 connector common to most EV’s except for Tesla. Guest access Following initial check-in, guests may come and go as they please using a unique code on the frontdoor keypad. Guests have access to the 3rd floor guest area that includes a kitchenette, full bathroom, sitting room, bedroom. Outdoor spaces on the property are also available (pond, patio, garden). During your stay My wife and I have flexible schedules and are glad to offer assistance whenever possible. Other things to note We have a small Westie dog who is very loving once we introduce you to her. She is kept separate from guests.
