Unusual mini-house "la Casbah"

Small cocoon of 20 m2, the Casbah welcomes you for 2 or 3 people for a stay in complete independence. You will enjoy a living space with kitchen and bathroom. Climb the ladder and you will spend a peaceful night in the attic room. The space The farm is built around an old mill, on one hectare of land, crossed by a stream. We have been raising organically farmed snails since 2016, which we prepare and sell at the farm or in producer stores. At the same time, we cultivate a large nourishing garden for snail preparations, tables d'hôtes and our personal consumption. We also raise some chickens, ducks and rabbits. We also have two donkeys that graze on about 3 hectares. This whole little world is watched over by our cats and dogs who love cuddles. Guest access The cottage is totally independent. You also have access to the common areas of the Moulin in the converted hangar: lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. Other things to note CATERING AND REFRESHMENTS Every evening during the summer we offer a table d'hôtes in the form of a communal table. On the menu, garden vegetables and local products, organic whenever possible. Rates are around €20 depending on the menus. On Thursdays, the meal is focused on snails (€29). We also offer wood-fired pizzas or burgers or other themed menus on some evenings. Every Sunday we offer a concert evening accompanied by hot farm toast, cooked over a wood fire. The bar is open every night and offers local draft beer, wines and non-alcoholic drinks. ONSITE ACTIVITIES Several hikes are possible, starting from the mill. We also provide bikes for free. Several outdoor games are offered (mölky, cube, Breton puck). There is also everything you need on site to relax: hammock, sun loungers, river. It is also possible to follow the self-guided tour around the snail farms. Here life is peaceful and you can stay in complete tranquility!! ACTIVITIES AROUND US The proximity to the Pays des Lacs allows for refreshing swims (30 minutes to 1 hour drive). Visits are also possible, such as the Pont des Vents mill, the abbey of Gigny and other churches and castles. Many hiking trails and some bike loops are also accessible.
