A cosy tour base in the heart of the South Wales Valleys with excellent road links for the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Zip World Tower, Pen-y-Fan, Waterfall Walks, Show Caves, Castles, beaches and plenty more. Local pub, post office, shop, and takeaways, and there are walks from the door should you not wish to drive. Please ask for details. The space Fully equipped with open plan living downstairs, 2 bedrooms and shower room upstairs, enclosed patio garden, with secure shed and a splendid view across the valley. Central heating, comfortable beds, and a superb shower. The larger bedroom has a Kingsize bed and a surprisingly comfortable fold out single bed, whilst the smaller bedroom has a double bed. Bedding and towels provided. Guest access Guests have full and sole access to the house and garden. Other things to note This is an urban setting in the everyday living community of Aberaman. Aberdare Town and supermarkets are 1 mile away. Our local pub, The Rock Inn, is friendly and welcoming, allows dogs, has Karaoke on Friday nights and serves a superb Sunday lunch. Please note however that it does not serve food at any other time although you can take food in and/or have it delivered there. Zip World Tower is 8 miles away, Bike Park Wales is 11 miles, and Brecon Beacons National Park 10 miles, where you have Pen y Fan, Brecon Mountain Railway, Waterfall Country and Dan yr Ogof Showcaves. The Big Pit, Castell Coch, Gruffalo Trail Wales, Caerphilly Castle, and The Royal Mint are all within 20 miles. St Fagan's Museum, the City of Cardiff, Cardiff Bay, Barry Island, and Ogmore by Sea, are all within 25 miles, with Swansea, Mumbles and the Gower peninsular, Brecon Town, Abergavenny, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Builth Wells, and the Elan Valley, all around an hour's drive away.
