The first stone dwelling to be built in the district in 1861, it is yours to enjoy with elegantly appointed guest rooms, sea views and private surrounds. Our bed and breakfast guests may also enjoy the private rear verandah or pergola which overlooks the stone fountain providing the tranquil sounds of cascading water. Or, grab a book and beanbag and enjoy the beauty and solitude of the sprawling grounds. The space Named after prominent Maerewhenua run holder John Borton who owned Casa Nova house from 1875 to 1911. Located in the Noble Wing, the Borton Chamber features a king sized bed and a large Oamaru stone feature wall with LED lighting so you can immerse yourself in the historic nature of Casa Nova House. The room is enhanced with a chandelier, private ensuite with large tiled shower and lighting for night time reading; Other things to note Our linen cleaning services are offered every three days. If you desire more frequent cleaning we are happy to arrange this on request for an additional cost.
