Description

Come unwind and escape the daily grind in this professionally styled, purpose built luxe bungalow situated in Noosa's Hinterland. A quiet, leafy and private location, but still close to everything you want to see and do whilst staying in the laid-back Noosa region. The space Nestled in Noosa's leafy Hinterland you will find our laid back, purpose built bungalow, Casa Palmera. Surrounded by tropical palms and native gardens, it's the perfect little retreat for those visiting Noosa Heads and the Sunshine Coast. If you're looking to get away from it all, we are located away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a short drive from all Noosa beaches, stunning surfing spots, nature walks, markets and shops. Casa Palmera Bungalow is situated towards the front of our small acreage property which allows easy guest access. It includes a dedicated off-street parking space for one car. The bungalow shares the property with the main house where our family resides, separated by the driveway and with enough distance to feel private and secluded (approx 15mts) . Carefully chosen placement of the building and windows in the design process allows for a feeling of separation and privacy, with our guests absolute comfort in mind. When you are inside the bungalow you feel like you’re in your own little world. The cool, Cali-coastal interior invites a calming vibe when you walk through the door. The 3.5 meter high raked ceilings, ceiling fans, split-system air con in bedroom and kitchen/living areas, plus the warm, ambient lighting plan all create a feeling of relaxation and comfort for our travellers to unwind. The large bedroom has a king-sized bed with quality linens, split system air-con, a double wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and storage, all complimented by high ceilings and windows that let in plenty of natural light. Blockout curtains and shutters allow you to sequester yourself away and keep the room cool and darkened for those late morning sleep-ins or afternoon naps. Catch the summer breeze and afternoon sun, whilst enjoying a relaxing drink on the deck that overlooks the tropical gardens. DISTANCE TO LANDMARKS: - The Doonan - 1min drive, 10min walk - Fruits of Noosa Fruit shop - 2min drive - United 24hr convenience store - 3mins - Flying West Coffee - 3min drive - Noosa River - 10min drive - Hastings St - 13min drive - Eumundi Markets - 7min drive A variety of local cafes are nearby with Flying West providing excellent breakfast and coffee, as does Café Doonan. We are also in close proximity to a 24hr Express Mini Mart (located at United Fuel), local fresh fruit and veg shop at Fruits of Noosa and a number of local eateries if you prefer to dine out. The bungalow is comprised of: - Coded Key Safe for self check-in - Nespresso Coffee pod machine - Full bathroom with walk in shower - King-sized bed, blockout shutters and curtains in the bedroom - Wardrobe for storage - Full laundry with washing machine, dryer, sink, iron and storage - Eco-safe laundry detergent is provided that is suitable for our septic - Fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop and integrated appliances - Oven, dishwasher, microwave and full sized fridge/freezer. - Wifi access (NBN) and TV set up for use with your own streaming apps - Beach towels and beach umbrella HOUSE RULES: No pets No children or infants No smoking anywhere on property or surrounding area No parties, workshops, gatherings or events Guest access Off street parking for 1 vehicle is available next to the bungalow. The Bungalow is situated towards the front of the property and facing away from the main house for our guests feeling of complete privacy. Other things to note Being that we are in a semi-rural location, please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, especially after 9pm. We do not allow parties or gatherings of any size on our property due to limited parking availability and the size of the accommodation. Please also respect the finishing’s in our home and the additional amenity items provided. We love providing a beautiful experience for our guests and would like to continue to do so for others in the future. Please take your shoes off when inside the home to conserve the cleanliness of the building. NOTE: We are on tank water which undergoes a 3 stage filtration and UV sanitisation process and is cleaner than most town water. Please be mindful of water usage during your stay as we have limited resources. Please also note that we are on a septic system which utilises a small tank and pump to process effluent. Absolutely nothing other than water and toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet or put down the sink. Please see our house rules for more info on this. Water is reclaimed for the gardens so please do not use any bleaches or harsh chemical products such as hair dye, cleaning etc. This can kill the good bacteria in our bio-septic system. We provide plant based and natural products for your use during your stay, however you are welcome to bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you prefer as small amounts will not harm the system. Please ensure you aware of AirBNB policies around COVID-19 travel restrictions as they are no longer covered under their "extenuating circumstances" guidelines. As per our STRICT cancellation policy, we are unable to offer additional refunds or reschedules due to travel restrictions or border closures as a result of ongoing outbreaks.
