Mountain cabin that sits on 2 1/2 acres of private woods. Very quiet and peaceful retreat with a beautiful view of mountain woods. Newly remodeled full kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, landline, WIFI . Enjoying the beautiful view on the deck area and out door fire pit. Road is not paved but well maintained. Close to Historical Gettysburg National Battlefield, hiking and fishing. I allow a pet under 30 lbs. with a fee of $ 20 per night. This must be paid at booking. The cabin has two bedrooms, two double bed's. The eat in kitchen is fully equipped and open to the living room with 40 inch flat screen TV with satellite channels, HBO, Star's and DVD player with movies. There is a large porch with a grill and plenty of seating with a ceiling fan to keep cool. You will have a chance to spot the resident deer in the woods. Once you are rested up and recharged, get to exploring. By golfing, hiking, swimming, fishing, bird watching, exploring historical Gettysburg. There are two state parks near by Caledonia State Park and Pine Grove Furnace. There are two mountain lakes Laurel and Fuller Lake, hiking the Appalachian Trail or biking the rail trail. Enjoy golfing at Pines Apple Golf Course. You won't be running out of ways to soak up your wild and wonderful surroundings. Other things to note In Gettysburg my favorite is Farnsworth House and Tavern which has setting out side in a garden and inside if it is to warm and homemade ice-cream across the street for dessert. Another is The Pub Restaurant which has great food. Appalachian Brewing Company has tours and great food. Adams county Winery also has wine tour's tasting, cheese and crackers. They also will ship bottles of wine to your home. They also have outdoor concerts and movies on the lawn. You must visit the Gettysburg Visiting Center for bus tours Segway and horseback riding tours and visit the Gettysburg Museum.
