Rafferty Manor, built in 1918, located in Ohiopyle State Park, on the Youghiogheny River, is the perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast and architectural aficionados, situated between two Frank Lloyd Wright homes; Fallingwater (2.7 miles) and Kentuck Knob (1.7 miles). A quiet retreat curated with global artifacts, Rafferty Manor is the perfect oasis for quiet and reflection. Managed by an artist, you will find all the amenities one would need to have a break from the outside world. The space Landscaped with natural fauna, the surroundings include a fire pit, guests can come and go at their leisure. The House is set atop a knoll, above street level/garage/driveway, accessible by a walk up to the house. Guest access Guests have their own room overlooking the Youghiogheny. There is an AC window unit for the warmer months. An ambient diffuser is at your disposal. The living room, dining room and kitchen are for use. Guests can relax and enjoy the front porch, back porch as well as the eclectic interior. Whether a long day whitewater boating, biking or seeing architecture, feel free to just sit and enjoy some quiet time. There are ample bicycles for the guests to utilize to explore the landscape. During your stay I tend to find people like their own space, so with that said, feel free to keep to yourself and/or converse at your leisure. Other things to note Klaus & Barnabas, the Dachshunds , have their moments! Barnabas will lick you for hours Klaus does his own thing. If your are a light sleeper, earplugs are provided for your use.
