Sea front architect designed house in Tankerton

Our home is a 4 bedroom family house overlooking the sea We have 2 x king bedrooms and 2 x kids bedrooms, open plan kitchen / dining / living space with 2 bathrooms (including 1 x ensuite) and utility room. There are 2 x off street parking spaces Our house is situated on a quiet stretch of Tankerton beach close to Jojo's and Tankerton sailing club. We are approximately 40 mins walk, 5 mins drive to Whitstable Max capacity - 4 x adults and 4 x kids (sharing) it is Ideal for families or friends The space As recently featured in the Guardian (May 14, 2022) This is our home which we purchased two years ago after living in central Whitstable for 5 years. We just recently completed an extensive remodel and refurbishment, we hope you like it. We run a small architects practice in Whitstable specialising in bespoke private homes. The house is set over two floors and is mostly open plan at ground level with a large sliding door separating the downstairs bedroom from the hallway. There are three bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs at first floor. There is also a mezzanine ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, but the shower is not in use yet and we are storing a few items up there. This is our family house where we live with our two kids, dog and cat. We will clear some space in the larder, fridge and wardrobe in the main bedroom (Drawer and hanging space) , as well as a little hanging space within the kids wardrobes. There will be many personal items throughout the house (including some painstakingly completed lego sets on high shelves) and we kindly ask that you respect these. We enjoy cooking and there is a fully equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine and dryer. We ask that you remember not to leave the dryer running if you go out. We also have a coat and show cupboard in hallway, where you will also find the vacuum cleaner and brush in case you need it. Our dining table seats 6 - 8 and we have a kitchen island with 3 bar stools. There is also a large sofa in the space. We have a good sized south facing garden with herbs, vegetables and fruit growing to one side, please help yourself to any ripe produce. We do charge £150 per stay for cleaning. This includes one set of clean towels for 6 and fresh cotton bedding. TV - We have Freeview and on demand Streaming (Netflix / Amazon) More details will be in the house manual. Guest access We have two spaces in front of the house but parking along the seafront is free although it can be busy on warm days. There are frequent buses in and out of Whitstable and Canterbury (approx 4 per hour and the bus stop is 5 minutes walk from here on Priest walk Other things to note We have a rigid SUP board which you are free to use. As it is our family house we have not cleared it out but we will leave some space in the larder, help yourself to dry goods and spices. Strictly no smoking inside the property. We have a pond with goldfish at the end of the decking, we have a guarding in place but please take care. We ask that you feed the fish each day if you remember. We have a crested Gecko called Grogu, she lives in a vivarium in our son's room. She is nocturnal but very quiet. We may ask you to to change her food if you are staying more than a couple of days. We will leave instructions. We ask that you please don't take her out as she likes to jump and is quite fast. Strictly, no hen parties or stag do's and we ask that if you are using the garden in the evening that you respect our neighbours.
