***** WELCOME TO VACATION HOME MOOI GIETHOORN ***** Vakantiehuis Mooi Giethoorn is located on the Dorpsgracht in the beautiful and quiet south of Giethoorn. Would you like to spend a few days with your family or friends in the special Giethoorn? Our spacious vacation home is very suitable for a family or group of 6 people. For allergy reasons, pets are not allowed. The space CHECK-IN Upon arrival, you park your car(s) on our own lot, you ring the bell and get the key to the back house from us. We will show you around and then you have the entire back house and the terraces at the back and the side of the house to yourself. So you don't have to share spaces with others. BACK HOUSE We rent out the entire back house, while we live in the adjacent front house, under the same roof. Both parts are separated, which guarantees you complete privacy during your stay. The back house includes a spacious living room with an open kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, suitable for a total of 6 people. LIVING and OPEN KITCHEN The living room offers a cozy sitting area with TV, a dining area and a kitchen/bar. We do not serve breakfast, but the supermarket nearby has a wide range, so you can make your own meals. The open kitchen is equipped with extensive kitchen appliances for your convenience and is also equipped with a cozy bar. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS There are 3 bedrooms: - two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a sitting area with TV and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. - a small bedroom with a double bed and attached bathroom with shower and toilet. All beds are comfortable box springs and made upon arrival. OUTDOOR Enjoy your own terrace overlooking the Dorpsgracht or discover Giethoorn with a canoe or whisper boat that you can rent from the neighbors. Due to fire hazards, a charcoal barbecue is not allowed. Instead, a safe gas BBQ can be rented from us. WELLNESS In the screened backyard, you will find our wellness facilities. Enjoy our wood-fired private Finnish hot tub and/or sauna at an additional cost, complete with an invigorating garden shower. The host lights up the fire, and you'll do it yourself by adding wood. At a small additional cost, the host also takes care of warming up while you enjoy your peace and quiet. Price includes wood package for two hours. At an additional cost, an extra wood package is available for extra long enjoyment. Don't forget to bring your own swimwear, slippers and bathrobe or bath sheet. Please book one day in advance. PETS For allergy reasons, pets are not allowed in our holiday home. HOUSE RULES & SAFETY Please read the house and safety rules at the bottom of this listing carefully to avoid any misunderstandings. BOATING You can rent a canoe or boat from the neighbors. On Sundays and public holidays, timely reservations are recommended. PRICES 2026 The price per night includes use of bed linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel and kitchen linen. Tourist tax 2026 €2.26 per person per night. Children up to 3 years old do not pay tourist tax. Wellness 2026 - Optional hot tub or sauna, self-stoking: €37.50 for 2 hours of use. Heating by host €35.00 extra. - Combi hot tub and sauna, self-stoking: €55.00 for 2 hours of use. Heating by host €35.00 extra. - Next use hot tub and/or sauna: 20% discount. - Extra 2 hours of wood package €15.00. Please book one day in advance. Rent 2026 - Baby bed and high chair: €25.00 per stay. - Gas BBQ, incl. gas and final cleaning: €25.00. - Bath towel XL for hot tub/sauna: €5.00 each. Please book one day in advance. Guest access The entire annex with its own private entrance is accessible to one family or group of 6 people. You have all the spaces and amenities to yourself and therefore do not have to share them with others. Pets are not allowed in our vacation home.
