Same distance by foot to the local bakery, village centre, cafes, restaurants, ATM, mini-markets. No need to rely on the car, should you so wish! The space One of the oldest traditional buildings in the region, recovered in 2011. Four-hundred meters from Zambujeira do Mar beach and village center, where you'll find restaurants, bars, the market, the local baker, ATM and tourism center. Our place will offer you the absolute feeling of the pristine Portuguese country-side, with plenty of open-space and outdoor patios, where you'll be able to spot several singular bird-species while fully-enjoying your morning coffee or evening tea from one of our patios. In 2016 we have expanded the area with a 30m long crystal clear chlorine-free fresh water pool, respecting the old lines of the watermill channel and the surrounding nature. To swim in our pool is literaly equivalent to swim in a natural translusid lagoon (this may feel different if you expect a conventional bleached blue pool). The upper patio of the watermill expands into a 200m2 wooden deck with a stone barbecue. Guest access The whole property will be exclusive to you. Other things to note The facilities of the village's water station are opposite to our property. You will pass along these facilities on the way to the beach. From nowhere within our property, these facilities are visible and the water stream running inside our property is often louder than the soft sound of the water station.
