The name Burgstube comes from the fact that the castle ruins can be explored only 100 m away. The holiday home Eifelstuben was completely renovated in 2021 and equipped with the highest possible comfort. The Moselle and Nürburgring are only 20 minutes away by car. The space The adventures begin at the door: A lake, the ruins of a Crusader castle, the picturesque town center and the vacation home are very close. Ulmen was voted one of the top 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites in 2022 and is thus equated with the Grand Canyon and Victoria Falls. So you live right next to one of the world's most extraordinary and unique places and in the UNESCO Geopark Vulkaneifel! Finally, THE new sensation of the Eifel is open to visitors: the Maarstollen, which connects the Jungferweiher with the maar. A must for geologists and history lovers! But children will also be entertained thanks to the new discovery tour. At the castle, there is a big surprise for everyone who answered the quiz. You can rent it as a whole - with friendly families or family meetings - or the Burgstube apartment individually. Just 20 minutes by car from Nürburgring AND Moselle. The whole house was completely lovingly renovated in 2021 and constantly maintained. It offers you every comfort. Box-spring beds for sleeping, fully equipped kitchenettes, renovated and refurbished bathrooms. In addition, you will find an infrared cabin in our vacation home to relax after a hike or bike ride. We offer an allergy-friendly house and, on request, allergy-friendly bed covers. For bicycles, there is a lockable parking space and sockets for charging eBikes. The location is quiet and you have separate seating areas on a terrace. Are you traveling as a couple only? Then you might like our Stollenstube on the first floor. Or would you like to go on vacation or spend a weekend with friends or friendly families? Take a look at the Maarstube or rent the whole house Eifelstuben with charm. If you are traveling with friends or more families, there is also the possibility to rent the whole house. If you don't have time to shop, we can put a first supply package in the fridge for you. Please ask us about it! Of course, there are different variants: Standard, Vegan or DeLuxe - according to your preferences. We have designed the apartments to provide all possible comforts for allergy sufferers. If you are also interested in the extra allergy-free bedding, please let us know. For only €20 per double bed, you will receive the allergy-free encases under the duvet cover and over the quilt, pillows and mattress. Guest access The vacation home is located in the traffic-calmed area and right behind the maar (lake) is a forest. Here you will also find the tunnel, which is already sensational in itself, but thanks to the current work, it can soon be walked on, so that you can see for yourself. The pretty town square of Ulmen is only 50 m away, as well as the church, the lake and the castle is only 100 m away. On the town square you will find a restaurant, an ice cream parlor, pharmacy and various other small shops. In the market street - again only 50 m around the corner - there is a quaint pub. A few meters further on is a pizzeria. At the vacation home itself there is a parking space for loading and unloading. Free parking is available just 150 meters away (behind the pizzeria). If you walk up Bahnhofstraße for about 1.5 km, you will come to the second lake of Ulmen, the Jungferweiher. There is a circular path and you can watch the water birds from a bird lookout. Herons, ducks, grebes and now and then in the spring a stork. The Jungferweiher is a very well-known bird sanctuary that is popular with ornithologists.
