Nestled in a 10-hectare park with swimming pool, former dryer renovated into a charming and comfortable cottage. The space Configuration of the premises: 🌳 The park (10 ha): - Ponds, bucolic setting, beautiful walks according to the seasons, sunsets/rises; the fauna and flora have lost none of their wild character even if the park is vastly maintained. Birdsong and frog croaking enhance the calm in which the premises are immersed. - 10 m x 5 m pool overlooking a hill, well exposed and not overlooked. Sunbathing to relax. * The pool is to be shared only with another cottage whose maximum capacity is two people. 🏡 Le Sechoir: Character cottage (75 m²) - Open space with fully equipped kitchen, dining room with large dining area, living room with comfortable sofas and armchair. + TV with French and UK channels. + Wi-Fi - Private terrace with dining area, park view. - The bedroom offers storage space including a dresser and wardrobe, a queen-size bed – convertible into 2 twin beds – with rectangular and square pillows (there is something for everyone!). - En-suite bathroom with bath and spacious shower, towel dryer. + laundry area - Windows are equipped with mosquito nets preventing all insects from entering: significant extra comfort! Anxious to welcome you in the best possible comfort conditions, your beds will be made before your arrival, bath towels provided, and welcome products set up to start your stay without difficulty. All you have to do is put your bags down! Other things to note Issigeac is the ideal location, between Périgord Pourpre – famous for its wine-growing terroir – and Périgord Noir; also called the "valley of a thousand and one castles", full of bastides, medieval villages classified as the most beautiful in France. Not to mention the troglodyte sites of the Vézère Valley to Lascaux. Stroll through the streets of the medieval city of Issigeac, admire the half-timbered houses, treat yourself to a glass of wine at the Château de Monbazillac a few minutes from the cottage, panoramic views of the vineyard and the Bergerac hills. Stop at Eymet, a lively bastide, Villeréal and Monflanquin for the most beautiful villages of Lot-et-Garonne. Take the road to Sarlat, taking care to stop along the Dordogne valley; Beaumont du Perigord, Monpazier, the Abbey of Cadouin... Try a descent by Canoe Kayak to Roque Gageac, you can admire from the river the dominant village, built on the rock, the castle of Castelnaud, Beynac and that of the Milandes. A must! In addition to the sights, Issigeac and its surroundings offer fabulous restaurants, the Atelier in the village, the Tour des Vents, exceptional cuisine, Michelin-starred. Gourmet night market every Thursday evening in summer in Issigeac. For children, a playground right next to the cottage, on the banks of the Banège. Escape games, giant maze and puzzle games, to do as a family at Bridoire Castle or Tiregand (15 minutes) We will discuss festivals, concerts and entertainment based on the dates of your stay.
