One of Cheristow farm cottages, a cluster of cosy holiday cottages around the former farmyard, close to Hartland Abbey and a wonderful stretch of the South West Coast Path. The Stables has a wood-burning stove and its own sheltered outdoor area. Guests can use the spa room with it hot tub & sauna and the children's play area, with long green views to the sea. *Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome @ £25 per dog, per stay of up to 7 nights. The space The Stables Cottage is a stone built, single-storey cottage with a double and a twin-bedded room. It has a well-equipped open plan kitchen/dining/living area with wood-burning stove. The front door opens onto a small enclosed area, part of the former farmyard. Guests have access to the indoor hot tub & sauna, and to the play area with views over fields and the tower of St Nectan's church to the sea. Guest access Guests in the Stables have access to the indoor hot tub & sauna and to the shared children's play area with views over fields and the tower of St Nectan's church to the sea Other things to note ACCESS Unfortunately, at the moment the approach road to the cottage is badly pot-holed and needs careful navigation, especially, obviously, in low-slung cars. SHOPPING Cheristow is a short drive to the small shops in Hartland, 8 miles from Kilkhampton which has more choice and 15 miles from the major shops of both Bude & Bideford.
