Red Squirrel : Delightful, cosy 2 bed apartment in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Aviemore. Bang central in Aviemore. Two minute walk to bus, train station. All amenities shops, walks, ski hire etc. Restaurants, bars, cafes. You are in the centre of Aviemore so come to stay and enjoy it all! After a long day out exploring, come back and put your feet up, watch a Netflix movie, pour a 'wee dram' and enjoy the evening. The perfect base for single traveller, family, a couple or friends. The space You will be Bang central in Aviemore for your stay! Everything is on the doorstep in this ideal base in Aviemore village, all amenities a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment is on a corner and entrance to a very quiet cul de sac. It can be busy during the day but very quiet in the evening. The grounds of the MacDonald Resort are right opposite the apartment which is a large green and wooded area ideal for kids to play in and explore. The lounge is a warm and relaxing space. After an active day out you could spend the evening curled up on one of two sofas. Indulge in a Netflix movie with a dram or two! There are two bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. The bathroom has shower and full size bath to soak in after a long day out. The switch for the shower is outside the bathroom door, switch down and you have a hot relaxing shower to use. Modern kitchen with electric hob, single fan oven, toaster, microwave, washing machine, fridge. All crockery and utensils are provided. For hot water for the kitchen and bathroom sink press switch down above electric hob on the wall and water heats overnight on economy 7 tariff. Switch off if not required during your stay. All towels and bed linen are provided. Travel cot with mattress provided but please bring your own bedding. Babies high chair is also here. Ample free parking to the rear & front of apartment block use any of the parking bays. It is a 2 minute walk to public transport and you are perfectly situated for : The Old Bridge Inn, Cairngorm Hotel etc. A perfect place for families, couples or a single traveller. The Royal Scotsman is a luxurious train that offers scenic journeys through the Scottish Highlands, combining exquisite dining, comfortable accommodations, and unique excursions and passes the apartment just across the road from the front window. Laundry facilities - Washing machine. Drying line to the rear of the accommodation with pegs in bottom kitchen draw. Phillips, 40 inch flat screen smart TV with free super-fast wifi. Family Board games, cards. Fire Safety (Scotland) compliant interlinked heat and smoke detectors. All sports facilities and walks are nearby. eg: Kayak or canoe, ski hire, car hire, bicycle hire. Cairngorm Reindeer Centre ‪9 min drive‬ Cairngorm Ski Resort which includes snow and railway items CairnGorm Mountain ‪10 min drive‬ About the area : Cairngorms National Park and Speyside Wildlife reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Strathspey Steam Railway and Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Cairngorm Reindeer Herd and Highland Wildlife Park are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with skiing, or try out other outdoor activities such as sledging and ice skating. No parties allowed. No pets allowed. Bicycles can be stored in the shed to the rear of the apartment block which is locked and has a key code. Guest access Access is by keysafe which is at the front door so you can easily let yourselves in. It may not be suitable for wheelchairs as there are 5 steps up to reach the ground floor from each entrance. There is free parking in the bays to the rear of the apartment and any of those can be used by guests.Entrance time 4pm but can be earlier so always worthwhile contacting to see if you can get access earlier if you have arrived early in Aviemore. No PARTIES are to be held at the accommodation. No stag or hen groups allowed. This is a quiet residential apartment block of only 6 flats please be mindful of other residents and keep noise levels down. STRICTLY NO SMOKING inside the accommodation or in the entrance hallway and no smoking around the grounds. Cigarette butts should be disposed of in the large industrial bins to the side of the property. No pets allowed Property/possessions left behind : It is at the owners risk to ensure that all personal belongings and valuables are taken with them on departure. Any items left behind will be returned if found in the accommodation by 2nd class post unless alternative instructions are discussed with the owner and paid by them. Registration Details HI-70061-F
