The booking for this room is for 2 people, including meals. The newer Sunrise house has 3 rooms. Each room sleeps 2 people and has its own private balcony, ensuite outdoor shower and western sit down toilet. The space Set on a tranquil white sand point surrounded by coconut trees, the clear waters offer great swimming, snorkelling and fishing. The guest houses are located halfway between the lefthander, which is visible from the point, and the righthander. The left is less than 10mins walk from us and the right between 10-15mins. During your stay, you'll be kept well fed with the best home cooking; ranging from fish barbeques on the beach with salads, local curries, the classic nasi goreng, to fruit, fresh bread and donuts. Other activities that can be arranged include jungle walk, local food cooking class, fishing and surf boat trips and motorbike tour on Pulau Telo. Guest access Currently (April 2023) there is one fast ferry servicing between Teluk Dalam (Nias) and Pulau Telo. Unfortunately there is no fast ferry connecting to Padang at this time. There is also a slow ferry, Simelue, that takes about 7 hours, but there is no fixed schedule for this. Should you arrive in Telo after dark, you will need to stay at a guesthouse as we are not able to pick you up in the dark for safety reasons. Please note that although there is a schedule for the ferry, timings do change every now and then. We advise you not to book back to back travel, especially with international connections to your country. Herdin is based in Teluk Dalam and speaks English. Vincent is based close to Sorake and speaks reasonable English. Getting to us on Pulau Sibaranun from Pulau Telo: I will pick you up at the harbour in Pulau Telo in a white speed boat. This trip will cost 300,000rp for the boat. This is still a rural location and we will do our best to be a good host :) Power comes on at 6.30pm, and will go off at 10pm. Please do remember to charge your electronics at this time. A nice luxury to bring could be a small chargeable fan (fully charged) so that you can top up the battery in the evening hours :) Women can surf in a bikini, but it is best to wear a T-shirt/sarong on the walk to the surf. This is a Christian Island, and is conservative as there has not been many female surfers on the island. We try our best to offer good meals, and our ingredients depend on what we can get in Pulau Telo, as everything is brought in from mainland Sumatra. When the weather gets bad for a few days, we hope you understand that we will be limited to travel to Pulau Telo.
