Slatine are a small fishermen and tourist village situated on the northeastern side of the island Čiovo, only 8km from Trogir. The island Čiovo is famous for its rich vegetation, stone and gravel beaches. In the surroundings of Slatine, the coast is indented with a lot of lagoons, cliffs, gravel and stone beaches. During summer heats, the pinewoods create pleasant shade, and they are perfect either for families with small children for swimming or for those who love peace and quiet.
