Bamboo Farm Stay

Soak up the country black and white charm in our Bamboo Farm Stay on our gorgeous working production nursery. Perched on the ranges overlooking Ballina, you can sit back in your outdoor garden area and enjoy the views over the hills down to the ocean, gather your own eggs, or pick your own avocados in season. The space Our Bamboo Farm Stay space is Inspired by Singapore's Colonial Black and White Bungalows, and furnished with collections from our time spent living in Asia. Tibetan chests, Chinese hand painted cupboards and Asian art all immerse you to a zen world amongst our bamboo farm. Enjoy the open fire under the stars, bbq up your dinner or just sit back and admire ocean views to Lennox Head coastline. The studio offers one queen bed with lounge and kitchenette. The attached bedroom has a single bed and a triple bunk (double down the bottom & single on top) which makes it great for a family or friends travelling. Attached off the bedroom is your own laundry area (with washing machine and dryer). Access to the farmhouse pool is available, and reverse aircon/heater in the main room. The freshest of tank water is provided, and our power is sourced from the sun (off grid during the day). Towels, bedding, plates, cutlery, glasses all provided. Message us if you have any questions or requests. Guest access Guests have access to a range of activities around our 15 acre bamboo farm. Pet friendly, you can bring your hairy best friend to enjoy a stay away. We have chickens so lots of fresh eggs for breakfast. You have access to our swimming pool in summer, and a dedicated laundry area. And if you love gardens and the great outdoors - enjoy a walk amongst the 25 year bamboo gardens on our farm or go pick your own fresh herbs from the garden. Tours of the production nursery are also available upon request. Other things to note We have chickens with fresh eggs you can help yourself to and gardens with herbs and veggies... and of course our labradoodle named Charlie Brown and blue heeler called Banjo - who both love a good pat. You'll also see our neighbouring paddocks of cows, and with a short stroll you may even see the horses and wild rabbits (hares). Registration Details PID-STRA-53
