The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). Patio doors to the front open onto a paved terrace with views over Drummond Hill. Stairs lead to the first floor bedroom with adjoining en suite shower room with underfloor heating. Everything is provided for a peaceful, relaxing break - towels, linens, tea, coffee, Highland Soap Company shower products, and a log store stacked full of wood for the fire. Guest access Guests have private access to The Owl House and its front patio area with table and chairs. Guests are also invited to explore our 3 acre woodland at Gardeners Cottage next door. Other things to note The Owl House is fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break - fresh linens and towels, Highland Soap Company bathroom products, hairdryer, microwave, oven, electric cook top, toaster, cafetiere, under-floor bathroom heating, and a cozy log burner with wood provided. Discounts available for week long stays. 3 night minimum.
