Acitivities pre book onsite The space An extensive programme of renovation and restoration has been undertaken at Netherdale House to create luxurious hideaway in the quiet Aberdeenshire countryside. The house and Coach house in the grounds can be hired together providing accommodation for up to 24 guests. In addition there is a converted barn with capacity for 150 guests. Guests can enjoy the grandeur of the elegant Drawing room with its fine antiques, large open fire, and stunning sash and case windows with working shutters or relax in the Deveron lounge - a cosy snug with bespoke whisky barrel bar and doors opening to the front lawn, perfect to enjoy a dram whilst watching the sun set on the river below. Fantastic views of the river and far reaching views of the rolling Aberdeenshire countryside and the Deveron valley. There is also a Games room with a full size snooker table and wide selection of books and games. The luxurious guest suites are located in the West wing, south westerly facing enjoying specular sun sets on the river. The outdoor spaces are fantastic for gatherings, we have mini highland games kit and other traditional games to enjoy in our BBQ & Picnic 'Sitooterie'. Note the nightly price is for the 6 bedrooms in the house only. Note there is no kitchen or cooking facilities but a full catering service can be provided. Guest access The outside Sitooterie has BBQ, seating and fire pit. Complete with range of traditional games and mini highland games kit to enjoy in the paddock. Extensive estate grounds with woodland walks and the river Deveron for walking and picnics. Private transportation is essential, we can arrange for small buses for distillery trips. Other things to note If the Coach House is not booked with Netherdale House, then there could be two parties on the estate grounds. So as to be clear with regards to Exclusive Use , then this would apply to Netherdale House only.
