Our property is very peaceful and private surrounded by nature with stunning views of the Purcell Mountains. It is a 30 min walk or 5 min drive to the charming town of Kaslo and Kootenay Lake. Perfect for families who enjoy being in nature and around animals. Our spacious guest suite has its own completely level entrance, is suitable for people with disabilities and is wheelchair friendly. Easy access to numerous hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails. The space The suite sleeps up to four people with two separated bedrooms. One of the two spacious bedrooms has a comfortable european style double bed while the second bedroom has a cozy king size bed. The bathroom has a beautiful big shower with sliding doors, easy to access. Cozy living room and kitchen area with lots of seating space. All rooms have big windows for plenty of light and fantastic views. Guest access The guest suite has its own private patio with BBQ. Hot tub area is level with the guest suite entrance. Grab a chair and enjoy the beauty and peace right in front of the suite or down by the pond. Other things to note Our dog "Juneau" is usually with us or on the backside of the house in a fenced area. He is very friendly and loves people. We do keep chickens and bees on our property, which are protected by electric fencing. There is a pond on our property, please keep in mind that younger children need to be supervised. We are a family of four and our children are still very young.
