Lake View is a newly refurbished, 1 bedroomed apartment in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. Situated on the 2nd floor in an elevated position it provides excellent views of the fells across the lake and across Bowness village. It is in a quiet and private location, yet is very close to many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars and just 5 minutes walk from Bowness Bay . The space The real highlight of Lake View is the wonderful views from both the bedroom and living room. We have created a comfortable and clean apartment with good quality furnishings and everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing break in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District, which was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in July 2017. From October 2018 we have installed high speed internet which our guests can access wirelessly. Guest access Lake View is not suitable for people with disabilities. It is on the top, (2nd), floor of a large Victorian house and there are 36 steps from the main entrance to the apartment. There is no lift and although this does not pose a problem for most people, please only bring what you are comfortable carrying. The apartment is self contained comprising 1 bedroom, 1 living room, bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen. There is a common entrance to Lake View, which serves three apartments, and guests obtain the keys from a key safe, which is in the hallway on the ground floor. Other things to note There is high speed wifi in the apartment providing speeds of up to 70mbps. We have had one outage in 2 years due to the provider having server problems and although a repeat of this is very unlikely, we trust that if it does happen we will have your understanding. The mobile signal on most networks in the area is 4g.
