The light, airy and spacious cottage is beautifully styled. It is 2 storey, the downstairs has 2 cosy bedrooms, a clean bathroom plus outdoor spaces. The upstairs is a huge multipurpose loft/living space plus a raise deck with ocean views. With inviting spaces, this property is the perfect gathering place for adult or family groups (older children only for safety). Also great for those working in the region or working from home. Be inspired, connect and enjoy quality time The space Boho beach cottage is a welcoming, relaxing sanctuary. Every room has been lovingly decorated in boho coastal style. The overall feel is calm, relaxing and comfortable... everyone says the house is an easy place to be. The kitchen window reveals an extravaganza of green, with the surprise bonus of ocean views from the top deck. The bedrooms are cosy, but very comfortable. Both have dual aspect windows and closets, with one featuring sliding door out onto a balcony which overlooks the rainforest. Features include a brand new kitchen (very well equipped), indoor or outdoor dining downstairs and a huge loft space. This wonderful space has comfy couches and a large TV, a huge table (for boardgames, craft or dining) that seats everyone. Plus 2 single beds / day beds and a cute reading nook. Everything is new and scrupulously clean, I include wi-fi, speakers for your music and high quality linen. There is also a washing machine and washing line available. The house has lovely spaces everywhere and is proving perfect for small groups for a wonderful, fun and easy mini break, plus people who are working in the northern Illawarra, travellers seeking a base and people who work from home needing a change of scene. Outdoor Spaces: Upstairs there is a superb deck , a porch and balcony (one on either side) plus a paved outdoor area with another large dining table. On top of that we have an amazing backyard. Just off the back patio is a RAINFOREST which leads onto 3 acres of more open space with amazing tall trees, walking tracks and and spots to sit in silence with the trees (there has been some flood damage in recent years so it's a little overgrown) Guest access There are 2 houses on the property, guests can access all of "cottage", the backyard and 1 car can park in the driveway. I live on site in the house with the blue door and also have a garden studio listed on Airbnb. Please note those guests need to pass by the cottage and whilst both spaces are private, you may seen them around. Other cars can park on the road and walk down the driveway (about 60 metres). Other things to note Things to know about Stanwell Park Boho Beach Cottage I live on the property in a separate house, this is a good thing for guests because I’m right here to help with anything you need. The property is nestled in a culdesac, so whilst the cottage is here to be enjoyed, I ask guests to be as mindful of my neighbours as you would be of your own and use "inside voices". Kids: The house is really perfect for adult gatherings, and isn’t set up or suitable for children under 6 years due to steep stairs. Pets: Unfortunately I had some bad experiences allowing guests to include pets in the bookings and regretfully can no longer do so. Check in 2.30pm. Check out 11am. Maximum number of people in the house overnight is 4 All people staying must be named on the booking. Minimum age of the majority of guests is 25. Regretfully, I can no longer offer the house to wedding parties after some bad experiences. Of course, wedding guests are more than welcome. Whilst I’m not the “fun police” I will only rent to people who are mature and respectful. These are my house rules: >> Take care of the house as you would your own, things are here to be used, but must be returned to their positions and completely cleaned >> No children 6 years or under (due to stairs) >> Quiet time from 10.30pm to 8am. >> No smoking inside and only mindful smoking outside. >> This is a quiet area, we do not allow parties or loud (ie neighbour disturbing) noise at any time >> Breakages, damage and theft must be re-imbursed >> Place rubbish in bins >> We are on a septic tank, only paper can be flushed and all other items must be placed in bins.
