Irish cottages are renown for their character and quirky arrangement of rooms, where no two are alike. I fell in love with this style of house 20 years ago when my family moved here from England, but never expected to own one of my own! They are a throwback in time and these days are becoming rarer due to the costs of renovation, something I was ignorant of when first taking on such a project. Guest access We are happy to share our kitchen with you, where we cook on an aga. You may prefer to eat separately in which case there is a little room off the kitchen for breakfast. As a family we rarely use the sitting room, so this is yours for your stay. Other things to note Cork airport is a 45 minute drive from Ballycrompane.
