Description
This is an idyllic, light-filled old Coastguard’s cottage, almost on the beach, with views of the sea. It’s also only short walk to the centre of Whitstable. It’s has been recently totally refurbished to a very high standard with a chic, arty feel. We thoroughly clean & sanitise the house for you. After a sunset stroll along the beach you could have supper out or cook in the lovely kitchen, then light the fire & enjoy a romantic film on the TV, run a hot bath & sink into the comfy beds. The space It’s rare to find a cottage so close to the beach and also so quiet which makes it very relaxing. The open plan living room gives a feeling of space and the log fire and the type of furnishings make it feel very cosy. Everything is new and so works, there’s plentiful hot water and decent heating. Having two shower room/loos is really great, it’s nice to shower after the beach downstairs. Suitable for a romantic weekend, a getaway with friends or treat for a family of four, this cottage has lots to offer. One double bedroom can be a twin if required. There’s plenty to do even on a rainy day in Whitstable and Canterbury is a short drive or cycle ride. Margate is a good day out too with the Turner gallery. Lots of restaurant options and quirky and interesting shops are within a short walk. Please note NO ANIMALS, thanks very much for observing this, it keeps the place at its best for everyone! Guest access You have the use of the entire property and this is a family home so you should find everything you need and that includes picnic things, games, tennis racquets etc Other things to note Please note we like our place to be super clean for your visit and so we have a no animal rule here, this is to keep the house looking and smelling lovely for all our guests! Thanks
