Our home is just minutes from attractions like the Atlantic Ocean, Jockey's Ridge, Lighthouses, Buffalo City Distillery, Harley Davidson's, Golf courses & the water park. Our neighborhood is peaceful. We live downstairs with our 2 dogs, 2 ducks, and lots of chickens. WE DO NOT HAVE A CAT please do not encourage any cat to hang out with you they are feral and we DO NOT FEED them. The space Our home is close enough to beaches, restaurants, shopping, site seeing, historical land marks and parks but far enough from the crowds to plan day trips and return to a safe quiet place to unwind. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beach, some shopping, banking and some restaurants. PLEASE NOTE: We have well water in this neighborhood and sometimes you may smell a sulfur smell- kind of unpleasant but safe to use. Most people are not used to this and would probably prefer to bring their own drinking water. ●We DO NOT ALLOW PETS, PARTIES, PAID EXPERIENCES, EXTRA GUEST NOT ON RESERVATIONS, SMOKING OR VAPING IN OR ON THE PREMISES. ● Limited off street parking in our driveway for MAXIMUM of 2 cars. Please remove shoes at front door. ●Utilize our outdoor shower, located on back porch, when returning from the beach to keep as much sand as possible from entering the home. Outdoor shower has hot and cold water. ●We do not have cable. We offer a ROKU for guests to sign into their own accounts .We do have internet, movies, books, games and puzzles. Guest access Our guests are welcome to explore only the parts of the space they rented: the entire upstairs, front and back porches, grill yard, playground area and front yard. The guest will have access to the entire top floor where there's a full kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Entrance is through the front door. Prior to arrival, I will supply access code via the platform. Arrangements to meet can be made through the platform, otherwise we may only see each other coming and going. Please feel free to reachout anytime during your stay. ***WE DO LIVE ON PREMISES - DOWNSTAIRS with our 2 small dogs. Other things to note We live on the edge of the tourist destination known as the Outerbanks (OBX) and occasionally find ourselves subjected to high volumes of traffic especially during the summer season weekends. Population increases and lines move slower in stores but we welcome our tourist and share our beaches year in and year out. A relaxing place awaits you just before all this in our home. Nearby, you will find Holly Ridge Golf, Kilmarnick Golf, Carolina Club Golf, H2OBX Waterpark, a public park with a boat launching ramp, playground and great walking paths, Buffalo City Distillery as well as an Exxon gas station and a Dollar General. Some of our favorite places to eat include: Josephine's - Italian, Masala Bay - Indian, Cosmo's -pizza, Vilai Thai Kitchen-Thai, Tale of the Whale - seafood. NOTE: no food delivery options to our location. *Except Produce - We have our own market located at MP5.5 in the Seagate North Shopping Center in Kill Devil Hills, called Tarheel Too Produce and are more than willing to bring or have in house your produce needs. Just let us know how to make your stay comfortable and we will try our best to accommodate.
