The Camp

Wake up to beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoy your coffee on the deck overlooking the lake or on the dock down by the water. Swimming and boating with dock space for a small boat is available right at the camp which sits on 100 feet of water front. Great for couples, outdoor adventures and families with kids. Close to stores, hiking trails, restaurants, laundromat and activities. Room to park 4 cars. The space Located on Lake Winnipesaukee where swimming, boating, tubing, water skiing, wake boarding, scuba diving, sailing and fishing are just a few of the activities available in the Lakes Region. Swimming from our dock or from shore is possible. The swimming area has a swim ladder, a gradual slope and a semi sandy bottom. Children enjoy catching fish from the dock, paddling our two kayaks and floating on our swim tubes. Alton Bay has craft fairs, hiking up Mount Major with a view of the lake, cruises on the M/S Mount Washington, mini golf and restaurants where you can enjoy your favorite foods locally. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, glasses and containers. All fresh linens and towels are also available. Experience the added pleasure of a western exposure, a panoramic waterfront view of the southern end of Alton Bay, the eastern slope of Alton Mountain and gorgeous sunsets. Watch the magnificent sunset reflect on the lake as it slowly disappears behind Mount Major. Sleeps 11 maximum. This does not mean that there are eleven beds. Wi-Fi is available.
