Cottage in Carolina Beach

Quaint beach cottage in quiet neighborhood, four blocks to beach. Two bedrooms; an open living area - perfect for a small family (4-6 max) or 4 adults comfortably. Walking distance to beach, Carolina Beach Lake, Saturday farmers market (May-September), and elementary school play yard. Enjoy screened-in front porch, back deck and private back yard. Downtown Carolina Beach & Boardwalk - 6 blocks away. Home is close enough to the beach, but far enough from the main drag to be quiet and comfortable. The space Step back in time! Classic beach cottage, very private and relaxing (Circa 1936) located in quiet neighborhood just 4 blocks from the beach. Recommend a wagon or beach cart to carry your items to the beach if you plan to walk. Parking close to beach access can be challenging (and pricey) Free parking directly in front of Cottage. Cottage offers convenient enclosed outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) on private back deck makes washing off from the sandy beach and the wave crashes a breeze! Must be 21 years of age or older to book the Cottage. Guest access Fully functional kitchen. Dishwasher/Microwave/Coffee Pot/Stove/Oven/Refrigerator. Because kitchen does not have exhaust fan, deep fried cooking is discouraged. Light stove-top cooking and baking is fine. Nice private backyard, perfect for storing your bicycles/surf boards/beach gear. Outdoor shower on back deck with hot and cold water. There is a queen size sofa bed in living room and a mattress pad and sheets available if you plan on using it. Sheets and towels are there for your use and are provided clean and made up on beds. Some visitors prefer to use their own linens. Please let me know prior to your visit if you will be bringing your own so that the beds will not be made up. When you depart, I ask that you please put sheets and towels in laundry basket located in large bedroom closet for the cleaning crew to launder. Other things to note • Roku TV. Use the remote to turn power on and off and volume control. You can select the streaming network of your choice or stream your preferred shows or movies with your smart phone or computer. Wifi is provided however, the internet service that Charter Spectrum provides is not very reliable and goes out often causing interruptions to your streaming efforts. Many island residents are hopeful that it will improve someday! • Please let me know prior to your visit if you will be bringing your own linens so that the beds will not be made up with sheets that are provided. • There is free parallel parking directly in front of the cottage enough for 2 vehicles, between the street and the sidewalk on the grassy/pine straw berm and a parking spot available across the street. Please do not park vehicles in the yard as the ground is soft and the weight of a vehicle will cause ruts. • Parking Permits can be purchased from Town Hall. $25/Day or $100/Week; otherwise the fee to park in the various town parking lots or parking spaces is $5/Hour. • There are a few beach chairs available there for your use. • Must be 21 years of age or older to book the Cottage. • The Cottage is not suitable for pets of any kind. • An enhanced cleaning and disinfectant routine is in place as well as a minimum of 48 hours between guests.
