Description
In old wine terraces you will find Casa Levada, it is a lovely house with an open floor plan on two levels plus a sleeping loft. Sea view from wine terraces... Evenings by the open fireplace... The eternal spring on the island... The space In old wine terraces you will find Casa Levada, it is a lovely house with an open floor plan on two levels plus a sleeping loft. In the past, the winegrower's family only lived upstairs. Today, the former wine cellar houses the rustically furnished, spacious eat-in kitchen with an open fireplace and the sitting area. A French window brings in enough light and allows beautiful views over the old wine terraces to the Atlantic. Upstairs there is a double bed under a window from which you can see the sun sink into the sea in winter. An originally designed bathroom with a maritime flair and another sitting area with a small sofa bed create a cozy ambience. A ladder leads to a sleeping gallery with a small window. Here, children or friends can sleep on a double mattress. Directly at the house is a cozy seating area under ancient vines. Here you can enjoy a Madeira wine with typical honey cake or a homemade grilled tuna steak. Bed linens, towels and garden chairs as well as sun loungers are provided The house can accommodate 2-4 people (3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children), baby cot available. Guest access Outdoor grill and ocean view Other things to note Information about STEGEART --- Art and Trust Fund --- I, Stefan Gesicki, renovated and designed the two Madeira houses myself. I hope you like it. In the cottage, you will find a small book with the history and photos. But I am not only a trained architect, I also paint and draw. My pictures deal, among other things, with water (which is abundant in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern where I live in Germany and in Madeira) of boats and mermaids as well as architecture on the water. Most of my exhibitions take place in the Baltic Sea region In the house there are pictures of me (Stefan Gesicki – StegeArt) to see and you can buy pictures of me. Some of them are originals, but also cheap art prints and postcards. There is a trust fund for this, please transfer to the account: IBAN: DE28 7603 0080 0970 8304 03 Owner: Stefan Gesicki If you buy a work of art, you can also participate in a raffle for another work of art if you want.
