Comfortable 2-person room in Casa Granadita, an official Santa Barbara Historic House, secluded yet near all the downtown enticements. Due to City law, I can only book for stays of 30 days or more. Kitchen privileges are provided, if you like, with your own small refrigerator and storage space downstairs near the kitchen. The space Charming private room with 2 extra-long twin beds, good mattresses, 300-count luxurious linens and thick 100% cotton towels. Share 2 bathrooms: the smaller one with the shower has been completely refreshed, the larger one with the tub is functional and clean but needs work. Price is discounted to reward your patience while I'm in the process of reclaiming the house and garden from the years of tenants. Guest access Stairs in the entry hall allow you privacy in your comings and goings if you prefer. Kick back in the Guest Lounge. Hang out at the dining room table. Sit and contemplate the green exuberance of the garden from the large patio. Use Wi-Fi throughout the common rooms and in your bedroom. Access the office printer (by request). You are most welcome to share my little bit of paradise. During your stay You are guests in my home, welcomed to the house of my heart. You'll be given a key, and may come and go as you please. If you prefer privacy, you'll have it. I've traveled some and enjoy meeting people and getting to know them, but you set the tone. I rent 2 rooms through Airbnb. I usually work mornings in my office. If I'm out and you need or want something, you'll always be able to call me on my mobile phone. On rare occasions when I'm out of town, a good friend will respond to your questions or needs. CLEANING Fresh linens will be provided at the beginning of each 7-day period. You may borrow the vacuum and access cleaning supplies if you want. Incoming guests will find fresh linen and towels, and a clean and sanitized room, of course. KITCHEN PRIVILEGES Kitchen privileges, with rules, can be arranged. The rules are based on common sensse and experience with sharing. You'll clean up after yourself and replace anything you damage. I provide a small refrigerator for your personal use and cabinet space for your nonperishables near the kitchen. Please read the House Rules. CAT.
