Comfortable room in a bamboo garden.

COUNTRY LIVING! My house is located on an acre of land in a rural area, about 4 miles from the heart of Moorpark, I am 45 minutes from Los Angeles or Santa Barbara, and 25 minutes from the beach. I have had people from all over the world stay here and I welcome them all. I just expect guests to accept my dogs. They are big, young, but really friendly. There are animals all around: horses, alpacas, cats and dogs, chickens, peacocks, coyotes, mockingbirds, etc. Some can be heard at night. The space The room is upstairs, newly decorated and painted with a queen sized bed and a very large shared bathroom across the hall. There is a desk, which makes it good for long term stays. Lots of different varieties of bamboo and organic fruits and vegetables in the gardens. There is also a meditation garden in cool bamboo shade. Guest access There is parking in the large driveway. Guests can use the kitchen, enjoy walking in the garden, play with the dogs, pet the neighbors horses, or just relax in the pool and enjoy the peace and quiet. During your stay I live in the house with the dogs, and I am available for any questions, etc. I also work in my studio semi-attached to the house, and in the garden. I am happy to enjoy conversations with guests, but to also leave them alone. Many guests like to enjoy the pool or art lessons while here. Other things to note For guests who want a unique creative stay, there are workshops available in my attached studio. I teach workshops in woven tapestry, marbling and batik, silk painting, and other fiber arts. Contact me if you are interested.
