Spacious and charming 130m2, 19th century Paris house with 3 bedrooms in the heart of the Left Bank. Excellent transport links with 3 tube lines a very short walk from the house. Direct lines to airports and the Eurostar as well as the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame. 2 minutes' walk to Catacombes, 15 minutes to Luxembourg Gardens. The space Our house was commissioned at the same time as the Eiffel Tower back in the late 1880s and as part of the 'Exposition Universelle' to celebrate the centennial of the French Revolution of 1789. The house remains unique to this day: alongside the generous space on offer, the living room boasts wood panelling saved from France's former National Library and all the rooms have reclaimed stained glass windows. The property is set away from the street, nestled between artists' studios and behind the courtyard apartment building. There is a shared garden which you may use along with garden table and chairs. Each bedroom is equipped with an efficient, low-noise pedestal fan in the summer. Ground Floor: The house has an open plan, fully-equipped kitchen leading on to a spacious, 34m2 living room/dining room. The fully-equipped kitchen was renovated in 2025 blending high spec mod cons while preserving the charm of the house's heritage. Large fridge freezer, gas hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, nespresso coffee machine, magimix food processor, 'raclette' machine, fondue set and pancake machine are all at your disposal. There is also a downstairs toilet on the ground floor. First Floor: The first floor has a large landing, one double bedroom with kingsize bed (160x200), one twin bedroom and bathroom with full size bath and overhead shower. Attic Floor: The attic floor has a double bedroom (140x200). There is a chest of drawers in this room and should you need extra room for clothes feel free to use the cupboards on the landing. Our beds have light feather duvets for summer and deep-filled feather duvets for winter with cotton-crisp deersucker covers. The twin room has one feather duvet and one anti-allergen duvet and, like the double rooms, these are chosen for the season. Although the house oozes charm, it is not 'flashy', 'bling' or 'designer'; however we absolutely love our property for its rustic feel, Parisian authenticity and the enviable space it offers in the heart of the city. Guest access The whole house is at your disposal except one small room (our office) and one wardrobe on the landing. Feel free to spend time in the garden and use the garden table and chairs.
