Cabin in Sligachan

Welcome to Blackhouse 2, the perfect base to explore or indeed relax while you visit the Isle of Skye. The property offers a modern yet cosy feel with unbeatable views of the Cuillin mountains. Location-wise, the Blackhouse is in Sligachan which is the most central point on the Island, meaning that discovering the sights and highlights of Skye is made a little easier. The space Blackhouse 2 was designed to be a sociable space, with an open plan kitchen, dining and living space set behind large windows to the front of the property, providing expansive views of trees, moorland and mountains beyond the log burning stove. The property has three official bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom on the downstairs floor and a further twin bedroom upstairs. The Blackhouse has two shower rooms (one with a large open plan waterfall shower) plus a large porch area for jackets and hiking boots. Guest access The property is exclusively available for guest use. Our sister property, Blackhouse 1 is located approximately 30 metres away but you'll feel like you have your own slice of Island wilderness while in and around the building. Other things to note As remote as this Blackhouse may feel, there is the convenience of the Sligachan Hotel and Seumas' Bar which is a 5-10 minute walk away.
