Safe and family oriented building. The condo is almost 800 sqf. It has lots of windows. . Washers and dryers are located in the first floor of building. We will leave you a reloading card. There is a TV and internet access. There is a Queen size bed in the bedroom and another full size one in a corner of the living Room. You may use all the appliances in the kitchen including stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. DO NOT USE the clothes washer and drier because it is broken. There are big washer and driers in the first floor of the building. We will leave you a card that you can reload. There is also a big laundromat in the corner of Riggs RD and Eastern av. There are also basic food and toiletries/cleaning products. Feel free to use them and replace them with the same items or something else. I am always accessible via email and text. Our own apartment is next door to yours. We like getting to know our guests and help them with any doubts they may have. Chillum is very close to the District of Columbia. The area is safe and it is not congested with traffic. The condo is 20 minutes from downtown DC, with normal traffic via North Capitol Ave. Ten minutes from the University of Maryland and from the Washington Medical Center. A Giant supermarket is around the block and WalMart is 5 blocks away. I recommend a car although it is not essential. My condo comes with a parking pass for the parking lot. Several of my neighbors walk to Ft Totten Metro, it is one mile away. If you do not want to walk, there are several nearby bus lines running to the station. There are also affordable cabs and Uber PARKING PASS: I will give you a parking tag, refundable deposit required . I will return you the money when you give me the parking pass. This is a quiet place. Lots of professionals and families. No loud music, no parties. It is very restful and peaceful. Please keep it that way. Normal living noises are perfectly fine, just be very considerate of those living next to and under you. Heat and AC are centrally provided to the whole building. In winter we have strong heat and in summer powerful AC. When the heat is on, there is no AC. The conversion to AC happens in late May. That means that there may be a couple hot days in May when there is no AC. You may open the windows and we provide a fan. Guest access You may use all the appliances in the kitchen including stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. Please do not use the little washer and drier because it is broken. There are coin operated big washer and driers in the first floor of the building. There is also food and all kind of toiletries/cleaning products. Feel free to use them and replace them with the same items or something else. PARKING PASS: I will give you a parking tag if you ask me for it in advance.
