Polonka Kobarid House

Stay in the unique flat above the famous Hiša Polonka house in the heart of the old Kobarid village. The flat has been refurbished but still has touches of centuries old design. The space Enjoy a relaxing or active holiday in this picturesque village in a beautifully restored house right in the center of the historical village of Kobarid, where you can enjoy hiking, swimming in the river Nadiza, kayaking on the spectacular river Soca or skiing during the winter months on the mountain Kanin. The house which has been recently renovated has 4 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 8 people. It has 1 big bathroom and a large kitchen and dinning area as well as a spacious living room. The house also comes with its own private parking (1 car). Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms that can sleep 4 people. Downstairs there are also 2 bedrooms, that can comfortably sleep 4 people, plus there is an additional bed downstairs in one of the bedrooms, ideal for a couple with a child. Kobarid is a small village but it boast many good restaurants that offer local cuisine as well as internationally acclaimed cuisine, such as Kotlar, Hisa Franko and Topli Val. There is also a renowned museum of WW1, since a lot of important battles took place in this area. Italy is a short drive away (the border is a 20 min drive) where guests can enjoy a proper italian coffee and a stroll as well as good shopping in one of the picturesque towns such as Cividale and Udine. Other things to note There is a garage where you can store your bikes if you are coming with some sports gear you can also leave it there.
