The Bohemian Suite is located on the first floor of the house and is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment that can accommodate up to 4 guests. Note: this is a multi-unit building, not a single family home. There are 4 other beautifully renovated Airbnb units, plus a full time tenant in our lovely basement apartment. All guests will be asked to respect the space and be courteous of others by adhering to quiet hours from 10pm-7am. LIVING ROOM: queen sleeper sofa, rolling smart TV, oversized coffee table with stools to double as a dining space KITCHEN: stove, fridge, sink, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, electric kettle, french press BEDROOM: king bed, nightstands with bedside lamps, dresser, luggage rack, BATHROOM: Single vanity, toilet, tub/shower combo, toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion) SHARED AMENITIES: EV charger, laundry room with washer and dryer Other things to note: - For safety, the property has two Ring security cameras capturing live video and audio of the front door entrance and the back parking area. - While this suite is located on the first floor of the house, guests must go up a couple of steps to access the front porch. - Each guest is provided with 1 parking pass that gives them access to park on the street. Note that parking directly in front of the house is not reserved and you may find that you need to park a few houses farther down. We also have a small parking lot behind the house with very limited spaces. Lost parking passes will result in a$50 fine. - This is NOT a pet-friendly accomodation. $100 fine applies plus damages. Upon booking, you'll receive an electronic access code with check-in instructions for the front lobby door, your suite and the laundry room. The Bohemian Suite is owned by Staunton Stays and is managed by Be Still Getaways LLC Consistently voted one of America’s favorite main streets, Staunton, VA is not only a fascinating destination but is an easy spot for branching out to the greater Shenandoah Valley for experiences you won’t find anywhere else. From Staunton Stays front porch you can explore restaurants, shops, theater, music events, galleries, breweries, wine bars, and museums or take a scenic drive to explore the natural wonders of the Blue Ridge and Alleghany Mountains. Our location is walking distance from downtown antique stores, boutiques, restaurants, cafe’s, wine tasting rooms, museums, movie and performing arts theaters, etc. If you don't want to walk, the Staunton Downtown Trolley offers a fun way to explore the city of Staunton with no worries about parking, directions, or getting lost! It will pick you up right in front of Hotel 24 South (only one block from our house), and for only 25 cents per ride, you can ride all over our beautiful downtown district! For those with cars, there is plenty of street parking around Staunton and a couple of public paid parking lots. A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING THE BOHEMIAN SUITE: We are a 100% Non-Smoking/Vaping and Pet Free property. Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere on our property at all, inside or out. And out of consideration to our guests with pet allergies, we do not accept pets of any kind. We are sorry for any inconvenience. It is also important to remember that this is a multi-unit building, not a single family home. There are 4 other beautifully renovated Airbnb units, plus a full time tenant in our lovely basement apartment. All guests will be asked to respect the space and be courteous of others. That being said, please understand that you may have neighbors above, below, or next to you visiting at the same time as you, and as with any multi-unit spaces, you may hear the comings and goings of other guests from time to time. It is also important to note that there will be a moderate amount of stairs to climb (just a few to the front porch and the one flight up to the second floor apartments). Also, while there is always ample parking on our street, and even directly in front of our house, it is not reserved parking and you may find that you need to park a few houses farther down. This is common all over our city. We will have a parking pass waiting for you in your unit which you must use as the parking on our street is posted at 2hrs only without it. **PARKING PASSES MUST BE RETURNED UPON DEPARTURE OR YOUR SECURITY FEE WILL BE FORFEITED** as Staunton will not Re-Issue parking passes to us if lost. If you have a SMALL car and choose to park in the small parking lot we just added in the back of the house, after parking your car, you will need to walk up a slight incline back up to the front of the house to access your apartment. Please be careful as the driveway is very narrow beside the house to the parking area. Unfortunately, because of the narrowness of the driveway and the limited turnaround space in our lot, no large vehicles will be able to park there. We recommend parking in front if possible. It is usually the most convenient option for our guests. We want all guests to have the most ideal stay possible, so if you find that you need accommodations that allow for smoking or pets anywhere inside or outside of the property, if you prefer a single family home where there is no risk of hearing your neighbors from time to time, or if you are not comfortable with climbing stairs or walking a short distance from your car to the house, then our property may not be the best fit for you. **Privacy Disclosure: For the safety of our guests and our staff Staunton stays has Ring monitoring cameras set up in TWO locations: 1. Ring camera is monitoring and capturing live video and audio the front door entrance. 2. Ring camera is monitoring and capturing live video and audio the back parking area.
