Quiet, spacious and secure. Our Self Catering unit is 4km from central Knysna and is set on the edge of natural forest. The Ecofriendly space we are offer is a private apartment with its own covered patio. There are 2 bedrooms. First bedroom with queen sized bed, second bedroom with a single bed. Kitchen is well equipped. There are emergency lights and a battery backup for Wi-Fi, TV and to charge small devices. Our rainwater back-up system insures water availability in our water scarce area. The space The space has been created off the side of own home. There is a safe, off-street parking, and guests have their own entrance to the apartment. There is a kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Braai facilities are also available to use. Complimentary tea/coffee and rusks, a bottle of Water and a jug of fresh milk, are also supplied. The patio overlooks a part of our personal garden space and we are set against a lovely backdrop of Knysna Forest. You will also be spoilt to see many birds which are endemic to this area. Please conserve water, as Knysna is currently under Level 4 restrictions. For your convenience, we have provided water-saving tips to help you during your stay. Please NO SMOKING inside the building and upto 4m from the perimeter of the structure. We have two friendly dogs which are free to roam the entire property. There are also two cats. We supply separate containers for Recycling, Composting and Other. Guest access You have access to the garden and safe, off street parking A braai is available in a private part of the garden. Other things to note Knysna has so much to offer you as a discerning tourist. We have been living on the Garden Route for over 20 years and we can recommend a large variety ideas to keep you busy! There are many great restaurants and coffee shops in Knysna that we can recommend, and they cater to a wide choice of palettes wether you are vegetarian, vegan, kosher or just hungry. The Knysna forest is a beautiful experience and a day within its embrace will revitalize everybody. 2x Golf courses nearby, Knysna and Pezula. Simola Golf course is 20 mins drive. Cycling the K2C, Dr Evil or PnP road race? Pull in, we enjoy your company. Hiking in the area is beautiful and we can recommend every kind of hike from 1 to 21km! Surfing lessons can be arranged if you are keen to try an intimate ocean experience. Running the Knysna marathon? Stay with us. Loeripark is but a ten minute warmup jog away or we will drop and collect. Canoe on the Knysna lagoon, go whale watching or even go deep sea fishing. Diving at the Knysna heads is dependent on sea conditions and a visit to the NSRI museum is a must. Going on an evening cruise on the Ferry is a great experience! Historical buildings are also dotted around Knysna and the stone churches in town and Belvedere are also great areas for birdwatching.
