This 1960s beach house retains the character features of the era that enhance a relaxing, laid back atmosphere. The north/east facing hopper windows draw in the sea breezes in summer and flood the lounges with sun in cooler months. Local, interstate or overseas guests will be well positioned to explore this magnificent coastline with the house surrounded by pristine beaches and national parks. Bendalong is an easy 2 1/2 hour drive south of Sydney and 3 hour drive north east of Canberra. The space This house is ideal for two couples, two singles or the solo traveller who want to relax and unwind with the opportunity to explore this glorious region. Bendalong Village is set on a section of magnificent coast also known as Red Head and has a selection of some of the finest beaches south of Sydney - all within walking distance of the house. Whale watching season a great time to visit - northern migration is June and July, the southern migration late August to November. Stingrays come into Washerwomans Beach, dolphins are spotted regularly in the bay and kangaroos visit the village and surrounds most days. Oh and the native birds .... Guest access Guests have use of the house and garden. There are two bedrooms - (one with a desk) comfortable queen beds, an open plan lounge/dining room and well stocked kitchen (cooking oils, spices, dried herbs, coffee and herb teas available). Staircase front and back lead down to a large yard with barbeque, sitting area, sun lounges and deck chairs facing the native garden. Registration details PID-STRA-13211
