Merai Merai Villa

This is our genuine private home in the beautiful Bellevue area. Merai Merai means “rainbow “ in the local language of Tanna island Vanuatu. We have a ranch style tropical garden and our villa has a Mediterranean style exterior and large open plan living inside. We have used all local solid timber beams and concrete bench tops. From our wide veranda you can see the ocean, the the lagoons ( first and second) plus beautiful rainbows, sunsets and lush greenery. Our housekeeper will come to clean. The space Our villa feels very inviting, it is not an investment house, it is a home that has lovely Fiji made wood and leather furniture, beautiful art on the walls and quality bedding. We have good internet and a lovely dedicated work space. Outside we have a relaxed informal garden with a wood bar-b-que and wide verandah. Our housekeeper will come twice a week during your stay to change linen and do a mini clean for our guests. Guest access We have a ranch style gate with horse shoes on top, and the name in wood "Merai Merai" on our wooden fence. The milk chocolate coloured villa is visible from the road and we have a key code box for entry to the house. The entire house is available for our guests as we only offer it for times when we are not living or using it ourselves in Vanuatu. Other things to note Bellevue Road is a quiet road up to farmland and the Montmartre catholic school. An easy walk or bus ride to PVIS and shopping. Our block of land is approx 1,000sq metres and down one cliff is a local bungalow and at the entry there is a workshop and studio for rent. Our housekeeper comes every Wednesday and Friday to check and clean.
