The Boathouse is a newly renovated apartment in the lower ground floor of a unique Victorian Boathouse on Rudyard Lake. With lake views from all rooms, 1 bedroom with ensuite. There is a kitchen with oven/microwave combo and induction hob. The sitting room/ kitchen and bedroom have stunning views, sitting room benefiting from an electric fire and doors out onto the lakeside decking with direct water access and comfortable seating, your rowing boat and kayaks to use on Rudyard lake and a hot tub. The space The amazing Boathouse apartment is completely private for guests and the private lakeside garden too. The owners live in the main house above the apartment. We’ve lived in this beautiful place for nearly 19 years. The apartment below the main part of the house is lovely spot to enjoy the lake, from the waterside decking with hot tub to direct water access where you can enjoy use of the kayaks. Guest access The Apartment and private waterside garden with direct water access and private use of the pedalo and two sit on kayaks. The private waterside decking garden enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views of the lake and runs down to the waters edge. Other things to note In summer bring wet suits in winter bring warm clothes. House is not suitable for children under the age of 8 and not suitable for the elderly and infirm as there are many steps. 54 to be exact from the private parking down through the owners garden to the private entrance and garden. There is an electric heated hot tub in the private garden sunken into the waterside decking overlooking the lake.
