Flat in the heart of Bath with stunning views
Description
Light and airy flat in a historical Georgian building, built in 1762. Perfect location in the very heart of the city in the picturesque Abbey Green square. The Roman Baths are literally round the corner and all the sightseeing attractions you could wish to see are on your doorstep. Enjoy amazing views of the gorgeous Bath Abbey from the bedroom and of the ancient plane tree in Abbey Green from the living room. The space The flat is situated on the 2nd floor (*no lift*) and is comprised of a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen and a double bedroom overlooking the magnificent Bath Abbey. The apartment offers enough space for up to four people (the Chesterfield sofa in the living room can be converted into a sofa bed if needed. Please let us know in advance if you wish to use the sofa bed as it will only be set up automatically if there are more than 2 guests). The property has recently been renovated and modernised to a high standard while retaining all period features. Guest access You will have the flat all to yourself. Enjoy a flexible check-in with a key box. Other things to note The property is situated in the pedestrian zone and it is not possible to drive to/park in front of the house. The nearest public parkings (both a short 4-5 minutes walk away) are Southgate Car Park and Manvers Street Car Park. Thanks to the flat location there is absolutely no traffic noise, but please bear in mind that Bath Abbey is a functioning church and its bells do chime regularly. The Georgian sash windows and blinds from the 18th century are not soundproofed :-) At the weekends, the flat might not be an ideal place for light sleepers due to some exuberant visitors of the pubs/venues nearby but we provide earplugs if needed. Please be aware that the flat is in the 2nd floor with no lift. For fire safety reasons, it is not suitable for people with restricted mobility and small children.
