"La Soffitta" (the Loft) is an independent apartment located in our renovated 18th century farmhouse, on the Pratomagno slopes. Magnificent view over the Valdarno valley. Free WIFI. The house is located midway between Florence and Arezzo, on the cliff of the Pratomagno mountain, with a stunning sight on the whole Valdarno valley and the Chianti hills, immersed in nature and surrounded by olive trees (we do our own olive oil). This apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, its own living room with kitchen (where a small single bed can be added), a bathroom and its own outdoor garden area, bordered by a hedge. Our private swimming pool, immersed in the silent surroundings of the countryside, will help you to find ultimate relaxing! (Open May 1st - Sep 30th) In the house there is also a room with satellite TV, to be shared with the other apartments. Valdarno valley, the area between Florence, Chianti and Arezzo is famous for its oil, its wine and great food, like "fiorentina" steak. Its rolling hills are covered with olive groves and vineyards, it has plenty of beautiful restored historical buildings, including many castles and abbeys; and it is close to the National Park of the Casentino Forest. All these features contribute to its charm and serene country atmosphere but it is in easy reach of towns such as Arezzo, Florence and Siena. The area is safe and quiet, very peaceful, rich in historical attractions; perfect location for walking and mountain-bike. SPA town, Rapolano Terme, is 30 minutes away. Nearest village (Castelfranco) with many small shops and a supermarket is 4 km away! "The Mall", one of the biggest outlet in Italy, is just 20 km from here.
