Supercozy, romantic cottage – 400m from the beach overlooking a fynbos protected area. This beach cottage has amazing sunsets from the deck – great for sundowners. Ideally this cottage is a romantic getaway for 2 people but does have a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Located in the quite part of town, close to Blue Water Bay with safe swimming, good fishing and endless white beaches. The space The space The space Our cozy 53m² (173 ft²) wooden cottage on stilts is set in a fenced 830 m² (2723 ft²) indigenous garden. It is a warm and welcoming cottage with comfortable furniture. The cottage is west facing and enjoys great sunsets. Open Plan Living Room and kitchen. The lounge and main bedroom opens up onto the deck The Main Bedroom - Comfortable Queen size bed - Large glass door that leads onto the deck with panoramic views - Clean and crispy linen, duvets - Hanger rack for your clothes - Chest of draws Second Bedroom - Two single beds - Clean and crispy linen, duvets - Chest of draws The lounge - Comfortable chairs and sofa - Closed combustion fireplace - Large glass door that leads onto the deck with panoramic views - Fan - Interesting books The Kitchen - Fully equipped (all cutlery and crockery) - Kettle, Toaster, Micro wave, Stove and Oven - Wine glasses, wine opener, Fridge - Totally self catering. - We do provide salt & pepper. You need to bring your own tea, coffee & sugar The Bathroom: - bath and hand held shower - toiletry cabinet & basin - Towels, bath mat - Closed combustion fire place in the lounge for those cold winter nights ( bring your own firewood & blitz) - There is no TV , but there are lots of interesting books. The Boma Area: This has a braai /firepit downstairs that is used for braaiing. Please bring your own wood & blitz. There is an outdoor bathtub & shower in the boma area, with running hot & cold water. It is a FUN element to Sundowner Cottage. It is not meant to be taken too seriously for your personal hygiene. *** PLEASE NOTE : This is not a Jacuzzi or wood fired hot tub, but a outdoor bathtub for one person. Please see photos. - There is an alarm, and a lock-up gate. Secure house with alarm, external beams and armed response. - Secure parking is provided on premises Excellent bird viewing from the deck Guest access Guests will have the whole property to themselves except the downstairs apartment & garage is private & not available to guests Other things to note Excellent cycle routes and hikes - Pearly beach is renowned for its fishing! - Shark cage diving is 15 min drive away and there are also whale watching boat trips that can be booked during season ( October to December). - Please note that we have a strict no-pets policy
