Kingfisher Lodge with Private Riverbank

A beautiful Lodge set in 7.5 acres with its own riverbank, situated down a Dorset country lane. Set amongst fields, the tranquil, peaceful surroundings make the accommodation perfect for those who want to get away. Devoid from light pollution, the sweeping skies make it an ideal spot for star gazing. The Jurassic Coast is only a short drive, with beautiful coastal walks. A perfect break! The space The studio is newly fitted throughout. The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed, contemporary oak hanging rail, stool and chest of drawers. In the living room the sofa converts into a sofa bed, table, chairs, console table, Smart TV, WiFi and very efficient oil central heating. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom has a large 1700mm shower with rain head and detachable head, wash basin, loo and heated towel rail. Outside, the decking offers spectacular views. Deer, partridge, pheasant, swallows and house martins can all be seen. There are garden chairs, benches and a table. It is not overlooked and very private despite being in the grounds of Andrea's home. Your own parking is immediately next to the studio with a utility room housing a washing machine and dryer. We welcome dogs and have recently fenced the garden area to allow your dog off the lead whilst with you at the lodge. Guest access Guests are welcome to spend time by our private river bank where otters and kingfisher have been seen. Access is through a little gate with a willow arch further down the lane. Other things to note Welcome pack includes home made Dorset apple cake or seasonal vegetables from the garden. The property garden is fully fenced to allow dogs off the lead. We ask guests to kindly keep their dogs on a lead whilst outside the fenced area as we have sheep in the field, bantam chickens and a cat! The host has an alarm in the open barn which is activated between the hours of 11pm and 6pm For those who need to work or want to play, we have installed Starlink broadband.
