MANASLU -- Home On A Hill

Mananslu is a cosy brick cottage, about 5 km from Kodai lake in Attavampatti. The two bedroom cottage can comfortably host 6 adults or two families with small children. There is a large lawn which makes Manaslu a perfect place for those who love spending time outdoors. Pets are welcome at Manaslu as long as they can get along with the resident caretaker's dog... Do get in touch if you would like to spend a few days away from the pressures of the city and just come and feel the environment. The space At Manaslu we believe that being part of nature is important and we try our best to respect the beautiful environment the cottage is located in. To this end, kindly note that we try to not use any pesticides, insecticides or harsh chemicals on our property; therefore please do not be surprised to find the odd insect in our premises! Manaslu is a rainwater harvested building, respecting the environment and the impact tourism can have on the fragile ecology. To this end, kindly note that our bathrooms are very clean, but basic - no showers, only bucket baths! Of course hot water geysers are available in the two bathrooms and the kitchenette but if you are looking for that comfortable rain shower, you would be disappointed. Guest access We have space for 2-3 cars within our property in an open space. Other things to note Please note that though we would like you to enjoy your evenings out by the bonfire, we would request you to not play loud music or have a raucous party at Manaslu. The cottage is located in a serene, residential locality and we would like to maintain the tranquil ambiance of the neighbourhood. Please also refrain from smoking inside the cottage, though you are welcome to do so on the lawn.
