Welcome to my large, bright, one-of-a-kind studio right on the famous Sunset Blvd in the heart of LA's ultra-hip Echo Park. *10 MINS WALK/2 MIN DRIVE TO DODGER STADIUM* The layout feels like a 1 bedroom. Located above cool clothing boutiques and an insanely popular Korean coffee shop, my studio has high ceilings, original hardwood floors, large south-facing windows, a kitchen, lux shower w white subway tile, and tons of character. Next to tons of shops, bars, restaurants, and a grocery store. The space This unique 2nd floor studio is spacious, yet cozy, and tastefully furnished. Located within a charming, historical post-colonial Spanish revivalist apartment building from 1927 with original ornate tile, textured stucco walls, dark wood trim/doors, wrought iron details. High 7.5-8 ft. ceilings. Original hardwood floors. HUGE, south-facing, french style windows that open out literally over Sunset Boulevard-- it makes for great people watching, catching the sun on your face during your morning cup of tea/coffee, or watching the sunset itself. My unit is one of the few in the building with a special layout that makes it feel more like a one bedroom (the "bedroom" is located behind a privacy wall that separates it from the main lounge space). The bathroom can be accessed from the lounge area or through a set of sliding, wooden pocket doors. *Please note the doors slide together, it is NOT a single door that slides across!* The shower is a star of the unit with white subway tile, a seat, and a special water filter with wand I've installed that filters out the chlorine + ammonia used to treat all LA tap water. (Your hair and skin will thank you!) Furnished with a large comfy sofa and lounge chair and several throws/blankets/pillows. Queen bed with velvet upholstered headboard. A CB2 table in the kitchen with a few chairs. The kitchen has some *basic* pots/pans/mixing bowls/utensils/plates/glasses/mugs, as well as a baking sheet and a cutting board. Electric kettle. I'll also have a queen size Serta mattress with pump available along with some linens and spare duvets. Wall A/C & Heat unit is controlled by a remote mounted by the fridge (please turn it off along with any lights if you leave the apartment). Free, dependable WiFi. Amazon Echo Speaker with Spotify/Apple Music linked up. Dimmer lights. 2 air purifiers (it is LA after all!) Guest-dedicated mirrored closet with plenty of room to hang clothing (hangers provided). Towels and bathroom essentials also provided. Guest access Excellent for couples, small groups of friends, solo adventurers and business travelers. Charming communal back patio area for entire building. Communal laundry room on ground floor (activated with debit/credit card only). Trash/Recycling is also found through back entrance gate and to the right (you will need entry code and keys to re-enter). Other things to note Disclaimer: I have noted this elsewhere, but the apartment is immediately adjacent to a bar that can be loud between the hours of 10PM-2AM depending on the night (usually you just hear the music). I will be providing earplugs (or suggest you bring your own), but if you suspect this or other noise from Sunset Boulevard is going to make your stay unenjoyable I would think twice before booking. I am more than happy to field questions on this. I have 2 high quality air purifiers that also provide white noise that can help drown out these sounds.
